caused what is called the hollywood black list, and created the commite of unamerican activites  which would sacrifice many inocent people of being reds or commies

Communist "Witch Hunt" and impact on those accused
was againts supposed communists' and sympthisers those accused usually lost their reputation even if proven innocent, even in plenty of instances thrown into prison

Space Race impact on government policies
Scared americans after the launch of Sputnik1, actually ;because of this the government  increased  the funding for education.

Cold War mind set for the United States Government and public
Commies were attempting to infiltrate the U.S, the people were afraid of communist infiltration and un-american activities


Relationship of suburbs, automobiles, and roads
with the larg increas of vehicles on the roads they were expoand and created the inerstate highway  system, and with expanion of roads allowed people to move further from the city and still be able to travel back for work.

Baby Boom
occured after world war 2, resulted in the largest population increase in the history of the U.S peaking in 1951-1955

Urban-Suburban Pattern
starts with the business ditrict in the center of the city then the lower in come on the outer areas of the city, then middle income in suburban homes , then the high income homes
GI Bill
new enlistees were granted 4 years of college for 4 years in the armed services

Expansion of the Middle Class (why were things "affordable
creation of the credit card to purchase thing they would normally be unable to and pay back later
